To reach this camping area from Pinedale, Wyoming, ask a local how to get to the camping area to see Square Top Mountain and the headwaters of the Green River, which begin in the Wind River Mountain Range. Please note that the road from the parking lot to this site is rough. I was informed that the county plans to repair the road. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful and unique area to visit.
