Upper Mesa Falls is located approximately 16 miles north of Ashton, Idaho. To catch a glimpse of the rainbow, it's best to visit between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. There is a nice observation deck and boardwalks available to enjoy the waterfalls. While the lower falls are also worth seeing, they can only be viewed from a greater distance and are not as captivating as the upper falls.
